• LIGHT ADMIN: Are you organized and office-oriented? Someone to act as receptionist, to answer phones, schedule client appointments

• LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING: To clean, to display or shop for Mommy Store items.

• GREETER: We need someone to give tours to visitors as needed a few hours each week.

• MENTOR: Do you have a heart for families? One day a week, for one hour, you can be an important link for a young mother. The lessons are all ready for you. All we need is you and your heart. We even need some men to help mentor a dad or a couple.

• HELPING THE HOMELESS: Is your gift listening and caring? You can sign up now to help when The R.O.O.F opens. Be a positive presence for someone that may just need your smile, someone to listen and pray with. The Day Center can always use chess, card and domino players. Also if you like to put puzzles together or like to read to people we have plenty which you can do with people at our Center.

Duties are seasonal...

• GARDEN: Love digging in the tulips? We need an hour or two a day to help the gardener with basic light garden chores.

• Mulching, Tilling & Soil Replacement: Occasionally, garden needs someone with heavy lifting and digging capabilities a few hours each week for turning the compost, tilling our beds with the small tiller and sometimes replacing the mulch and soil.

• HARVEST: Kate also needs help with collecting vegetables and fruit for harvest.

• MARKET DAY: We need help packaging and coordinating with other farmers and gardeners on Market days, Tuesdays & Fridays.

• HOME DECORATORS: Are you good at arranging stuff? Help us do holiday and other displays in our store to enhance the shopping experience.

• BOOKS & MEDIA: Avid readers and music buffs are gladly needed with merchandising our store library shelves, movie section, and audio section. Lots of collectibles needing to be placed on the shelves, too.

• GREETER: Does your smile light up a room? Help us greet our customers. You set your own hours. This is a good way to pass on some cheer.

• DONATION GREETER: Help load the light donations from their vehicles and fill out their donation receipt. This operation is a 7 day opportunity. Your choice of hours.

• CUSTOMER SERVICE: Don't know a stranger? We can use someone during store hours to guide them to the right department for shopping. We are a Christ-based, non-denominational organization, so a little Word of encouragement with the customers is alright with us.
